Boats
At Blue Vision Dive Centre we own two 8m semi-rigid super ducks - Nicola and Mia, with the use of a third - the lovely Laché. All the boats are powered by two 85hp Yamaha outboard motors. Nicola is a 2005 hull with 2006 motors, whilst Mia is a 2004 hull with 2008 motors.
Each boat holds 11 divers plus the skipper and have full safety equipment in accordance with DAN Safety Partner standards. This includes lifejackets for all on board whilst moving through the surf zone, emergency oxygen and full first aid kits, fire extinguishers and GME GX300 75MHz Mariner CB radios. All our skippers and Divemasters are also qualified in CPR, first aid and oxygen adminstration.
And to ensure all dives begin with a good drop the boats are equipped with sounders with GPS.
