Cathedral

Cathedral is a huge cave that drops from the reef around ten meters to the ground. A massive archeway opens to the Outside Edge of Aliwal Shoal.
Attraction during the winter months are the Raggedtooth Sharks. At some stages 20 or 30 sharks can be seen inside Cathedral. Shark protocol does not permit entrance into Cathedral during those times.
Other sightings of Cathedral include Turtles, Scorpion Fish, many nudibranchs.
Diving from here towards the South allows the exploration of some beautiful Thistle Corals.
