Blue Vision Sardine Run
 You might be wondering what exactly is this sardine phenomenon people are talking about... It is called "The Greatest Shoal on Earth" and matches the annual Wildebeest migration across the Serengeti. Millions of people are engulfed in the sardine fever that strikes KwaZulu-Natal and, not only are the people in a frenzy; predators of the ocean congregate en-masse for a feast-of-the-year.
 Sardines (Pilchards) come in awesome shoals that can measure up to four miles (6km+) long, one mile (1.6km) wide and 96 feet (30m) in depth. In their trail a massive host of dolphins (super pods of 2500+), sharks (more thousands), whales (yet more thousands in weight), a gazillion Cape Gannets (seriously) and untold other marine predators.
Divemasters take expert care of diver safety while in the water, and salted skippers search the open ocean for the signs of sardine activity. All-in-all it is one amazing experience!!
 Although considered an advanced dive, snorkelers and boat riders can still take part in the action. In the sky birds give the tell-tale sign of a bait ball frenzy and underwater divers stare at a spectacle little-known to man. Whales breach with mouths full of fish and everywhere the dash of mighty fast game fish.
